Bugle in miniature form, modeled after an English regimental bugle. Probably for educational purposes (early military education of boys) representing a toy instrument, or a collector’s item with purely ornamental value. Toy instruments of this kind were produced, for example, by the Deutsche Signal-Instrumentenfabrik Max B. Martin in Markneukirchen, Saxony.
