Silver mouthpiece covered with brass mantle.

The Evolution II model is a continental European reaction to the heavy-style Monette trumpet. The second bell has the purpose to neutralize the lateral vibration of the main bell to channel the sound outward. The movable sound post between leadpipe and the inner bell follows the idea that the position of this brace influences the quality of the sound. The gap regulator at the beginning of the leadpipe is based on the idea that the size of the gap between the end of the mouthpiece and the beginning of the narrowing step in the leadpipe also influences the sound. The covered mouthpiece is modelled after heavy mouthpieces by David Monette.
