Description7 string guitar (tuned D G B d g b d'). Ornately decorated on the front with inlaid mother-of-pearl around the border and abalone inlaid in 3 octagonal "rings" around the soundhole. The latter area alternates the abalone with borders of alternating dark and light wood. There is also inlaid M-O-P at the top front of the open peghead; in 3 places on the fingerboard; and on the "eyes" over the string holders at the bridge. A tripartite strip of colored woods goes down the center of the back. There are 18 frets. The bridge has 2 "moustache" extension. screw in neck to shoulder joint, presumably to help adjust neck. Rosewood back and sides. Spruce top. Bone peg-heads.
