DescriptionStraight soprano saxophone with distinctive bell opening forwards. Silver-plated, satin (sand-blasted) finish, engraved [and burnished] bell, inside of bell gold-plated. Keys, ferrules, engraving, inside of bell are hand burnished. Mother-of-pearl touchpieces. Has alternate Eb key, but no front altissimo F mechanism. Ebonite rollers. Lyre holder on front. Range Bb to high F. Tone holes appear to be soldered. The edges of the tone holes are flat, not rounded or rolled.
