SignedNoneDescriptionShallow wooden bowl-shaped resonator. The quasi-triangular wooden yoke with arms extending beneath the snakeskin soundtable to the lower end of the resonator. The wood of the resonator is completely covered: the edge of the skin where it overlaps the back is hemmed with numerous strings of twisted leather attaching it to a central square of goatskin with hair displayed. The soundtable with single soundhole, the holes pierced in the the skin for the arms of the yoke and for the strings are reinforced with stitching.
Eight strings of twisted leather bound by strips of cloth at the crossbar, passing through holes near the lower edge of the soundtable and the resonator, and knotted round a small stick serving as a tailpiece.
