Similar to the Wonder Solo model of the late Worcester era, but built to be sold in Conn’s New York retail store, which opened in 1897. Conn’s ad said, “Throw away your old cornets and get a longer lease on life by purchasing the one that 20th-century players will use. Life is too short, and it is suicidal to hasten its end byplaying the mankillers sold throughout the country under the name of cornets. As the wicked fail to wear the crown, so shall musicians be rejected who neglect to use the Wonder.”
