SignedStamped just below the ferrule, above organ section: CAROBI / CLUSONEDescriptionClarinet bell made of boxwood with ivory top ferrule. The bell is very ornately carved, in high relief, depicting: a pipe organ surmounted by an angel with wings; two Saints (with halos) on each side of the angel, one holding a single flower, the other holding a cross; a third, bearded saint (monk?) carved on the side opposite the organ, holding one hand to his chest and looking at a lily(?) plant; and eleven musicians as if sitting/standing behind a railing.
