Meissen city directories first include the Freyer family name associated with plasterwork and casting in 1887. The 1893 entry clearly states the business premises of the Modellieranstalt und Ocarinafabrik at Elbgasse 23, while listing the personal address as Hirschbergstrasse 41. By 1898, only the Hirschbergstrasse address is listed until 1916, where Freyer has moved to Angerweg 3.
