According to Bridgewood and Neitzert: A fictitious name used by two bowmakers, John Clutterbuck and Stephen Bristow: They used the name "J.S. Rameau" from 1972 to 1984, after leaving the London firm of W.E. Hill and Sons. Bows made by them during this period are branded "J.S. Rameau"
