DescriptionBrass, German silver, single loop, telescopic tuning slide at leadpipe, three rotary valves (1, ½, 1½), horseshoe stop, Leipzig spiral-spring return.

This instrument resembles the Bohemian long model B-flat flugelhorn depicted in a catalog from ca. 1925 by Josef Glassl in Graslitz. It was therefore made during the era of Anton Konrad Hüttl jun., who died in 1920, and not while the firm’s founder Anton Konrad Hüttl (1826-1901) was still active.
