Stamped on bottom of valve casings and top valve caps, respectively: 6 (first valve), 5 (second valve), 4 (third valve).
DescriptionBrass, German silver, three separate straight tube segments (leadpipe/valve segment, middle section, bell), main tuning slide with ligature screw between first and second section, short slide to assemble second section and bell, three top-action mechanical linkage rotary valves (1, ½, 1½) with stop arm and spiral-spring return, windway 1-2-3.
Judging from the high serial number (94) of this 6½-foot E-flat trumpet, Schopper made nearly one hundred Engelstrompeten.
