Back: one-piece, quarter-cut maple: narrow curl, ascending from treble to bass; pin holes in back just inside of purfling at top and bottom blocks
Ribs: quarter-cut maple: narrow curl, angled to the right; rib corners chamfered
Head and neck: maple: very narrow curl
Edging: varnish removed from edges
Varnish: dark brown; artificial shading, varnish partially removed, simulating wear on each side of tailpiece, lower an center bouts of back, at upper treble edge of back, and on upper treble rib; varnish removed from edges and scroll and pegbox chamfers
