DescriptionBoxwood flute in four sections, with two extra upper middle joints (three corps de rechange in total). One brass key with rectangular flap mounted in a turned ring. Ivory ferrules and headcap.
Johann August Crone (1727-1804) reportedly employed a workforce of about 30, not including apprentices. His successor and daughter, Rosina Sophie Amalie, assumed control of the workshop upon his death.
