Description4 sections: barrel (not original), upper joint, lower joint, and bell. Grenadilla or cocus wood body with solid silver ferrules and keywork. Oehler system with 18 keys (19 touchpieces), 5 rings, and 1 plateau key (5th fingerhole).
Fingering System:
1. Speaker key with ring and vent for LH1 to improve intonation of f#' (vent open) and c#''' (vent closed)
2. Ring + vent for LH2 to improve intonation of b-natural''
3. Ring for LH3 activating LH2 ring to improve intonation of forked bb''
4. Duplicate lever for RH1 c#'/g#''
5. Patent c#'' key is fixed, not detachable (as is common on full-Oehler)
6. Ring on RH1 to improve intonation on e'' and f''
7. Finger plate for RH2 that closes the tonehole on right side of instrument and activates vent keys to improve forked bb/f''
8. Ring for RH3 that activates vent
9. Key for RH4 g#/eb'' that closes vent to improve intonation of notes above c'''
10. Touch for RH thumb that opens vent on bell for low e and low f intonation correction
