Description4 sections: barrel, top joint, bottom joint, bell. Boehm-Mazzeo system; 20 keys, 7 rings; Grenadilla wood body; nickel-silver keys, rings, ferrules; wrap-around register key.

Extensive custom modifications designed by Mazzeo, ca. 1960, include: throat g-sharp/a-flat key and A key; first ring activates a side vent hole; second and third rings activate a side vent hole; key modification on banana e-flat/b-flat key; key modifications on all right hand side keys (five keys); modified bridge key between joints; c-sharp/g-sharp key has additional touch piece activated by the right hand first finger, and original left hand touch piece has a roller; fourth ring activates sixth ring but not fifth; modifications to banana b/f-sharp key; rollers between right hand a-flat/e-flat key and f/c key; additional a-flat/e-flat key for left hand little finger with new connection.
