DescriptionHexagonal shaped concertina of Anglo style (single action: each button produces two different pitches, depending upon whether the bellows are pushed or pulled), with a 20-key system.
Lightwood veneered end frames, with handcut fretwork. Eight-fold cardboard bellows covered in black leather. Each side has ten bone buttons, arranged in two curved rows. Simple anglo-type action mechanism layout with brass posts, and levers made of brass wire pinned to "house-shaped" raised area of action board. Standard rectilinear reed pan, with brass reeds, white leather valves, and pale chamois gasketry. Pale-red canvas fret baffle. Air-release button for the right hand thumb. Wood handle bars with leather straps on end frames.
