SignednoneMarkingsBox decoration: inside box is a label from original box. Red, white, brown, gold, green, and yellow colors. Label consists of a portrait of a man with long curly brown hair, with a red cape draped over his shoulders. On the cape is an iron cross shape with the symbol of a crown in the middle.

DescriptionStrings: four strings, attached at base of instrument on an end pin, and wound around wooden pegs at opposite end.
Body: wood, handmade, unvarnished and unstained light-colored wood. All pieces and side held together by small flat-headed iron nails. Resonating box is six pieces nailed together in a rectangular shape. A hole is cut out of top for soundhole and a small piece nailed to bottom of soundboard to act as a bridge. Neck and peg box are one integral part. Pegs are wood, hand-carved, and somewhat triangular in shape.
