DescriptionCocuswood body in four sections, with tuning slide in head joint. Simple system keywork with seven silver keys mounted on turned blocks. The floating key heads are round, slightly cupped, with beaded edges, and are loosely attached to the key shanks by a screw encircled by a leather buffer to allow flexibility of seating. Five grooved silver ferrules, two of which are part of silver-lined sockets. Silver-tipped tenons point downwards (in other works, the head joint carries a tenon). Wooden screw cork adjuster.
