Some 5-petal flowers are silver plated.

In 1926, Finish 00 was also called the "Artist's Special Finish" and was described as "quadruple gold plate, completely hand burnished, extraordinary design of engraving which covers most of the bell, together with any special lettering desired."

Slide-tuned model with no bell-section tuning slide. According to Conn catalog (1926), this model "features screw tuning device; bell closer to mouthpiece for east in using mutes; installed balancer; slides made of Connite, a special alloy."
