DescriptionA boxwood flute with six keys. Originally, this flute had one silver key for D# with a pewter plug cover. Five additional silver keys with round, flat covers were later mounted on applied blocks. Three ivory ferrules and ivory head cap. Three metal ferrules are probably later repairs. Tuning features include tuning slide in the head joint, register in the foot joint, and screw cork adjuster, all with graduations marked.
