ProvenanceThe donor, David W. Clark, received this instrument from his uncle, Abraham Lincoln Beard, of Moville, Iowa, when he was 7 years old (1894). Clark was an original member of the old “Cow-Boy Band” of Bell Fourche, under Charles McClung.
