DescriptionMagnatone marketed this model to musicians playing Hawaiian and country-style music popular in Southern California during the 1950s. The Lyric D-8’s two necks allowed a player to access two different tunings at the same time, but it was less musically flexible than a costlier pedal steel guitar.
