Based on the serial number and information provided by Miraphone eG, the instrument was built in 1982 or 1983. “MIRAPHONE” or “MIRAFONE” was founded in 1948 by thirteen brasswind makers who were expelled from Graslitz, Bohemia, and who decided to continue their craft in Waldkraiburg, Bavaria, near Munich.
