DescriptionSilver-plated brass, mother-of-pearl finger buttons, single loop, telescopic tuning slide at leadpipe with ligature screw, three Périnet valves (1, ½, 1½), top-sprung, spring inside hollow stem, alignment by three unequal lugs on spring anchor plate, nickel-plated brass pistons, single water key at first bow, windway 3-2-1
Telescopic silver-plated brass tuning slide (probably not original).
The Leaders' Model Wonder Soprano Cornet in E-flat was introduced during the Worcester era and features US patent no 343,888 from June 15, 1886. The characertistic of this patent was the smooth, continuous windway, achieved by diagonal intervalve tubing between the third and the second valve.
