DescriptionBrass with painted geometric and floral decoration in red and yellow (original paint remnants restored); three telescoping sections; bosses at the joints filled with rattling material; integral mouthpiece, copper sheet pressed into cup-shape, folded over top edge of first section and soldered to it.

The kana is played in festivals, weddings and processions in the damai baja ensemble together with the curved trumpet (narsiga), and an oboe and kettledrum.
