Soundboard: two-piece, book-matched, quarter-cut spruce: medium grain; knots on each side above bridge
Back: two-piece, book-matched, quarter-cut koa with narrow, irregular, prominent curl descending slightly from center joint, the grain converging in upper and lower bout; slightly arched in all dimensions
Sides: two-piece, quarter-cut koa with prominent, irregular, narrow curl angled to right on bass side and left on treble
Head: pineapple-shaped mahogany veneered in koa and bound in ivoroid; integral with neck; inlaid with crest of light, medium, and dark tropical woods
Neck: mahogany; integral with head
Heel cap: integral with back
Binding: ivoroid with green abalone trim, with black-white-black plastic purfling strip trim on inside, on top only
Fretboard: ebony bound in ivoroid; 16 nickel-silver T-frets; single green abalone dots and side dots behind 3rd, 5th, 10th, and 12th frets; triple green abalone dots behind 7th fret, the outer two dots smaller, with triple green abalone side dots behind 7th fret
Nut: bone
Bridge: ebony tie bridge with bone saddle
Tuners: gold-plated steel tension tuners with black plastic heads
Rosette: green abalone surrounded on each side by three-ply black-white-black plastic purfling strips, set in from edge
Finish: clear
Linings: light hardwood
Neck block: mahogany with rounded corners; three Philips' head screws through block into neck heel
End block: mahogany with rounded corners
Top braces: two spruce transverse braces with tapered ends above and below soundhole; three spruce fan braces with tapered ends; all braces let into linings
