Description3 sections: headjoint, one-piece body and barrel, and foot joint (instrument has 2 headjoints in total); Boehm system with cylindrical body and "parabolic" head joints; solid silver body and keywork; 17 touchpieces; closed holes; inline G; closed G-sharp; Briccialdi B-flat; roller touches for C and B; teardrop-shaped D-sharp key; trill keys for D and D-sharp; low B-flat key for left-hand little finger; extra trill lever touch for G-sharp; seamed tubing; soldered toneholes with beveled edges; low B-flat foot joint with Badger's adjusting screw.

Silver headjoint: Badger's "Full Head" or barrel; solid silver; seamed tubing; barrel-type embouchure plate with wooden core sheated in metal; embouchure hole has square oval shape; gold-plated, oval signature plaque surrounded by foliage engravings.

Ebonite headjoint: Badger's thinned; ebonite; silver ferrules and tenon (seamed tubing); raised lip embouchure plate; embouchure hole has oval shape.
