DescriptionIvory body in five sections, with tuning slide in head joint). Simple system keywork, with eight silver keys mounted on turned blocks (low C, C#, F, left-hand F, G#, B-flat, and C). The key heads are round, with shallow flattened cups. Silver ferrules. Ivory headcap. This instrument was probably made in London by a nefarious maker seeking to capitalize on the success of Tebaldo Monzani's flutes.
