DescriptionNickel-plated brass, single loop, main tuning slide at first bow, three mechanical-linkage rotary valves (1, ½, 1½), horseshoe stop, coil-spring return, single water key at main tuning slide, windway 1-2-3.
Instrument modeled after Saxon rotary-valve trumpets but manufactured in St. Petersburg, based on inscription, markings and unusual decoration style of braces.
