Description3 sections: headjoint, one-piece body and barrel, and foot joint. Cylindrical Boehm system with open holes. Sterling silver body and keywork. One-piece drawn tubing. Soldered toneholes. 16 touchpieces. Inline G. Closed G-sharp. Briccialdi B-flat key. Trill keys: B-flat, D, D-sharp. B-foot with low B roller touch.
This Boehm system flute was made for Arthur Ephrosss, a student of Georges Laurent, principal flutist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. It has a B foot joint, which was not common at that time.
